Bull Island Excursion

We have not yet been on the Bull Island excursion. We found information about Bull Island in the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper. According to the Coastal Explorations website, Bull Island is a Class 1 Wilderness location 45 minutes from Charleston. The ferry ride to Bull Island is about 30 minutes. Along the way you can view salt water marshland. The island itself is six miles long with sixteen miles of paths to explore. There are restroom, picnic, and storm shelter facilities. Ferry departure times currently allow you to arrive in the morning or noon and depart at either noon or 4:00, so you can decide how long you want to stay.
